Ann Nelson
Ann Nelson lived in Stevens County in the early seventies and returned in 1984 to her home in the North Basin area. She lives there now with her husband Ken and their two dogs and loves being back in the shelter of the forest.
Ann also loves color, flowers and the spectacular beauty of the Inland Empire. Now retired, she is pursuing her lifelong interest in painting. Ten years ago she started with classes in Spokane and is now working her way through the many various and assorted phases of watercolors. They are tricky, endlessly complicated and challenging. Ann has taken classes at Spokane Art School, Spokane Community College, and the Corbin Art Center and with the artists Stan Miller, Eric Weigart, Judy Tremain and Gordon Mackenzie.
